Screen Orientation

I have had my SPV for over a week now and I am pretty pleased with its performance. However, I have found when viewing websites (including those 'designed' for viewing on the SPV such as the web based mirror for Microsoft's SPV forum) http://www.cewindows.net/pocketpc/newsport...blic.smartphone that I have to scroll backwards and forwards across the page in order to read the text. This is a bit of a pain, I think.

It would be nice to see with the SPV an option to view pages in their current state (upright or portrait) or 'landscape', by turning the phone 90 degrees to the left or right. This way, reading text and viewing pages in general would be made easier.

I wonder if this is feasible.

Cheers

I agree with you m8, I've thought and posted about doing this for watching movies, but never thought about it for internet. Good idea.

Yup would be handy. If this does happen in the future I'd also want the joypad to rotate so that pressing down (which would actually be lef or right depending on how you rotated it), would still take you down.

This make any sense? Hmm... confusing.

I have just purchased and installed IA Album Version 1.60 (Build 11016)

I was innately very happy with this new software it works very well and adds some of the excellent features missed in the phones OS.

I was happy until I downloaded the PDF user manual from the IA site and viewed the screenshots of the phone.

The screenshot of the phone in camera mode set up for landscape shows the picture landscape with the phone upright.

But when I choose landscape on my SPV phone the actual screen is rotated sideways so I have to rotate the phone to view landscape.

I have looked through every menu and can not find any settings to change this view.

Another application that could do with screen rotation.

I've noticed that the Sony/Erricsson P800 (bahh humbug! spit, spit!) does this.
