Guest TSCRYPTO Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 I have just got off the phone to Orange. I was told: 1. If I exceed the 'fair usage policy' for GPRS "because there is no proper pricing structre in place", I am liable to be charged "up to £10.00 per extra MB". 2. No warning letter will be sent if I go over x MB per day/month 3. Orange have no way of telling a user how much GPRS activity they have utilised. 4. That even when checking your current balance (through the billing helpline), any costs for GPRS usage will not show up. 5. Despite that fact that one may incur charges for GPRS usage, there is no way that anyone on the end of 07973100150 can access this information. Strange...someone at orange MUST know. Has anyone else had this sort of response, or have i just caught an orange operator on the hop? :?:
