SPV with USB as Modem on XP Pro

Problem Nr.1

I want to use my SPV under XP Pro with USB as Modem. Can me help some one.

The Driver on the Orange-CD dosn't work correctly. Where can i get a Driver wich works???

Or others idea???

(Suport-Phone tell me, it needs months to bring the new Driver out :evil: )

Problem Nr.2

I cancled the ROM-Update at the second Startscreen and now, when i download it again and try to install, i get an Erorr about "Falsche Geräte-Region" :wink: (sorry no idea to writ it in english)!!!

Problem Nr.3

All Acess is on Internet, E-Mail or Orange-Download is denided. Erorr: Can't connection, check the Net!!!!

Are there more with so many problems or is it by me :!: :?: :!: :?:

For a start can you post these types of queries in the Main section? It's not really a Tip or a Trick is it? Anyway lecture over. Can't be much help, but here goes:

This is a well known bug. Have a search on this forum. As far as I know there is no fix yet - I could be wrong though since I don't need it for this.

People have had problems when the install hasn't worked first time. Not sure if you can fix this. As this is a ROM update I doubt if even a hard reboot will fix it. Sorry can't help.

Could be a number of things. Have Orange enables GPRS on your account? Have they told you phone that? Try ringing Orange support. Failing that have a search on this forum for other users with similar problems.

There are load of problems with the phone... and with the users ;-) However, luckily we've got forums like this to sort them out!
