Guest silverfox Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Hi All Orange tried to charge me £10 per meg for the 7.1 used in my first month with an SPV. I'm on the Talkshare 150 package (I've been a customer for 6 years) and apparantly you are not allowed a spv package on this tarrif, although at the orange shop where I bought it they never told me any of this. They also set the SPV package up at the shop and Orange never questioned it either. I was also charged for 2 months of the spv package. After spending all yesterday shouting at Mr & Mrs Orange, they have finally waived the charges for gprs and the spv package. My choice now is to take the SPV back to the shop and demand a refund or change my tariff. By changing the tariff I will lose at least 30 mins talk time and the insurance on 2 phones. What annoys me more than anything....It's my problem and It's going to cost me time and money which ever I choose to do! Be Warned if you are on talkshare check it out.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I think this has been covered before, the SPV GRPS bundle only works with Talk xxx (i think), and others have been charged before for the same reasons as you. Failing on oranges part, again...
Guest Firaas Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 If you have any concerns about the SPV package, always ensure the member of staff has referred to the legal department. The T&C's do state, however, that you must have one main voice calls package on your account.
Guest one.ear Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Another lesson learned hopefully, always read Terms and Conditions. Ben
