Guest theodotcom Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Hi all, Just purchased my spv on thursday, and i am very impressed with it, so far i haven't had any major problems with it (lets hope it says that way :D ) just a couple of questions if someone can answer them pls... 1. I have put on a couple of video files. Memory free is showing 6Mb on Card and 4Mb on phone, however when i take a picture with the camera i cant save it coz it says the memory is full. 2. When charging the battery, (whether the phone is off or on), after its charged if i check the power management the battery is never totally full. Any reason for this? Thanks for your help!
Guest Lojt Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 When taking a picture it's saved on the SD card, so you might wanna check to see if its full.
Guest theodotcom Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 If I go to settings/about it shows Avaliable storage: 6.38Mb Total Storage: 7.50Mb Avaliable Memory: 4.76Mb Total Memory 11.82Mb There seems to be storage space but it still says no space.
Guest Emad Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Try taking out the storage card and then taking a picture (this saves it to your phone). Is the storage card write protected? The settings/about is your phones free memory. Install all-explorer to see sd card free memory. Delete the chemical brother's videos from it, they're pretty naff after all..
Guest theodotcom Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 This might be a really dumb question butWhere do i get all explorer to install
Guest theodotcom Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Ok just realised how to install the software, shall i install them to the phone or the storage card?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 In general software has to be installed on the phone's internal memory, all-explorer is one of these.
Guest Emad Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Does it? I just install all of my software to my storage card (cleared out the orange one initially, now I have a new one). Remember to do a manual registration on all-explorer - its a bit odd sometimes with auto.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I still havent got a new sd card, so i've not had chance to try myself :D, and apparently Auto registration on all-explorer works fine if you have a GPRS connection established before you start the registration process
