Guest spiderboy Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I don’t know if my phone is now kaput or is this normal somebody please help. The scenario is as follows, I was messing about with the IR to get a GPRS connection to my laptop when the phone froze up. I had to then remove the battery to reboot the phone to get it to work. After rebooting I noticed the phone has reset itself and I have lost all setting, GPRS e-mail the works. Anyone know why that happened? The second issue is that since this happened the screen goes blank (as if it was switched off) after 1 minute. I have tried everything from screensaver time to turning off the screen saver. Nothing gets rid of it, and this is absolutly killing the battery which is even stranger as the phone screen is not on. Anyone knows why this is happening or had this happen to them? :D

Guest Bazz Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I've lost all my settings twice. Not sure why though. Didn't have problem with screen afterwards though. There is another thread on the phone reseting itself.
