Guest elementalist Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I have got this a few times now - I plug in the charger and the screen display comes on (as it does when you link) but the charge symbol does not appear and in fact the charge now runs down quicker :) Nice! I reboot seems to fix this, but I rarely notice it has happened until my phone dies :( Anyone know why it might be happening and how I can avoid it? Known bug? Could be a coinsidence but I've noticed this since I started putting in an SDRAM card and not the plastic gap-filler...
Guest stu.mcandrew Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I had this happen to me a couple of times. I plug in in the evening and assume I will be charging up overnight and then in the morning, I have run out of juice. For me, I am of the oppinion it is a poor connection of the charger to the SPV. When I give the charging cable an extra push into the SPV, it starts to charge.
Guest Gunslinger Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I have also experienced the same problem a number of times. It only gets rectified after reebooting the handset. Baffling.
Guest Walle Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 I have tried to plug in to the credle without the charging symbol becomming active. I have then disconnected and reinserted the changer cable into the cradle with good result. So I have concluded that my problem was a bad/unstable connection. :?
Guest Deemon Posted January 24, 2003 Report Posted January 24, 2003 happened to me for the first time today....turn it off...turn it on ...now it charges... i hate buggy software
Guest pjh Posted January 24, 2003 Report Posted January 24, 2003 this has happened to me a few times now, but i've found that if i just unplug everyhing, go away, and come back in five mins to try again it works just fine very techincal of me i know! but my philosophy is when in doubt ignore the problem until it goes away!
