Guest Walle Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 I had to send my SPV to service today. 2 of my buttons didn't work properly. It was very annoing Having to press the red button several times before it hangs up the line after a conversation. But also the reset button was defect, so the SPV could not be reset... Anyone else having problems with the quality of the buttons? ;)
Guest spacemonkey Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Hanging up on a call has been mentioned here before. Part of the problem is that if the system has gone to sleep while you were talking the first press of the hangup button doesn't hangup, it wakes up the phone, so you have to press it multiple times. Not quite sure what you mean by the reset button, do you mean the power button on the side at the top?
Guest Walle Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 No – sorry. I meant the volume-up button, that in combination with the power button is used to hard-reset the phone. How about the time it takes from pressing the green button to answer the phone, until you actually can talk. Is it normal that it takes 3-4 seconds?
Guest spacemonkey Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 dunno, sounds a bit slow... I never get calls, I just own the phone so I can pretend to be cool
Guest crimminsky Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Walle....I'd send your pc keyboard back, the T button is sticking and your Y doesn't always work ;-)
Guest Lojt Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 No – sorry. I meant the volume-up button, that in combination with the power button is used to hard-reset the phone. umm, you use the record button for that... (the one above the volume up button)
Guest Walle Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 When going to my local Orange Shop, they used this button combination to Flash my phone, using a 32 Mb SD-Card.
