Guest squall Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 I bought a JABRA freespeak BT200 bluetooth headset (for non bluetooth enabled phones). The headset only came with instructions for use with non bluetooth phones, and it took me a while to figure out how to get the XDA2 and bluetooth headset to talk to each other. Its actually simple, just how the power button on the bluetooth headset until the light goes steady blue. Then use the detect bluetooth menu in the XDA2 settings menu to add the device. Have been very impressed with the JABRA headset. couldnt imagine holding XDA to my ear!
Guest Cogliostro Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 I have an XDA1 and bought the Jabra BT200 for non bluetooth mobiles too.(secondhand) When I got the package I saw that I had bought the version for Nokia phones... :) (which wasn't stated in the add) I paired the headset with the adapter to see if it worked, and thereafter I searched for my old Nokia. I works fine.... And then......I had to try it.....and yes....XDA1 and Nokia 2,5mm jacket are the same  why sell separate versions ? To check I tried an old headset for my Nokia....and that also worked on my XDA. :?:
Guest squall Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 its the same version actually. mine had a sticker next to the compatability list saying xda1, but works fine with xda2.
