Guest ppcsurfr Posted July 16, 2004 Report Posted July 16, 2004 If you are getting a Pocket PC Phone Edition, you'll need a good task switcher/killer for it. If you get Spb Pocket Plus 2.0, it includes a plugin that allows you to zip adn unzip files using the standard File Explorer. If you want a real File Explorer that can be compared to the desktop PC experience.... get Resco Explorer 2003 v5.1. Mabuhay! ~ Carlo
Guest sonborj Posted July 21, 2004 Report Posted July 21, 2004 hi carlo. i got an XDA 2 from Smart , when I tried running Auto Config , the file Explorer was gone! cant find it anymore. how do i go about this? mabuhay !
Guest squall Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 in windows explorer on the pc go into mobile device/ pocket pc / my device / windows / then right click on fexplorer and select create shortcut. copy the shortcut and paste it at: /windows/startmenu/programs if there is no fexplorer file you will have to hard reset im afraid
Guest jabez Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 Hi! This happened to me too. I did a Hard Reset and the File Explorer showed up again. It seems too that programs placed in the Start Menu are not seen in the Programs Menu. I have a lot of questions about the XDA 2 but I can't seem to find the answers here and in the Phone Edition. I wonder where I could get the most complete information and "real world" answers about the XDA 2.
Guest sonborj Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 @jabez, you can PM carlo anytime, thats what ive been doing. or you can post in Modaco Smartphone since most Pinoy users of Smartphone are in there. you can also check Pocketpc websites for applications. one of these sites is www.pocketpcfreeware.com
