Guest turboace Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Does anyone know how to get voice dialling on an SPV M1000? I had this feature on my Nokia and found it useful. It appears there is a Windows enhancement but its only available to US residents. Thanks Turboace
Guest thefa Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 I just tried MS Voice Command on my newly purchased Qtek 9090 and it works just fine. I need to pronounce the names in an as english as possible way but it does work okay. I'll keep testing for a few days but so far my impressions are good and I think I'll buy one.
Guest turboace Posted March 10, 2005 Report Posted March 10, 2005 Now that the UK version of MS Voice Command is available has anyone tried voice dialling with an HBH-35 and an M1000?
Guest Adrian2000 Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 Now that the UK version of MS Voice Command is available has anyone tried voice dialling with an HBH-35 and an M1000? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I tried MS Voice Dialler as a free 5 day trial and it worked fine, especially the english version. It takes a bit of getting used to...ensure that you leave a slight pause between first name and last name or you get some funny Contacts I ahve 4000 stored on my SPVM2000, so I need to get ti right. I like the way it asks if you wnat to dial Mobile or Work etc. I don't use the voice recorder at all, so I found that the best way of starting voice dialler was to map the recoder button to activate Voice Dialler..this is quite useful as it is comfortable to push the button when holding as a phone. Guest bretto Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 I think the english version is spot on. I have an Australian accent (more than likely because Im Australian) and 99% of the time it does what I say. ...Strangely though the other 1% of the time it wants to know if I want to reset my device ;)
