Guest Chaser81 Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 I have recently sold a customer an XDA II, and he doesnt know that much about it. With help, we have managed to get it to Activesync with his computer for contacts, and after a little messing around, for email as well, however it appears that not all of his tasks or notes are being copied across. Any ideas whats wrong? Also, when we go into pocket word, there are five files which are greyed out and have a file size of 0 bytes. Word wont let us open these (says it cant cause of their file size) and it also wont let us delete them. Any ideas what thats all about? One more thing is his email. When we connect to his account by POP3, and download his email (or look at his Outlook email that has been syncronised), it wont let him open file attachments, how do you do that?
Guest Dade Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 I'll answer part of your question about the email attachments: With the device connected and syncronised go to active sync on the PC and tools -> options. Click inbox and then settings. In there you will find all sorts of options about attachments such as maximum size and the date range of emails to syncronise.
