Guest luketoms Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 Has anyone found a pair of "good" (ie Sony, etc) headphones that fit the Xda II 2.5mm socket? As opposed to the shite headphones that come with it? :)
Guest Dade Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 I just got myself a 3.5 -> 2.5mm adaptor for my M1000 and plug in my Sony headphones, that works a treat!
Guest luketoms Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Yeah, I have tried to hold back on that, however I did go out and get one today. It is badword ugly!
Guest Dade Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Ive had a couple of these actually. The best one I found was an official compaq one. Its the type with the socket and plug with a short lead between. It did cost a little more but its very slim and not too ugly.
Guest neuronisis Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Hi guys, where did you buy these 3.5 -> 2.5mm adaptors?
Guest Dade Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 I got mine from an ebay seller for a few pounds. You can get them from iPaq dealers but these tend to be quite expensive. This is the iPaq one http://www.ipaqrepair.co.uk/view_product.p...php?product=227 Avoid the in-line ones as they put too much stress on the socket. http://www.proporta.com/F02/PPF02P05.php?t...=745&t_mode=des Be aware though that these adapters dont work with the M2000, see the thread in the Blue Angel section.
