Guest philgriffiths Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 If anyone is interested I've just noticed the M1000 has now dropped to 49.99 on new contract at www.orange.co.uk not a bad price i reckon!
Guest steverae Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Such a good deal, i couldn't resist it, arrived today. excellent, just like my ipaq 2210 but it's a phone too..... Runs everything i've thrown at it so far, all my emulators, including mame etc Plays wma media files as ringtones, supports me sandisk wifi card Does everything i could want...... gonna look for a bluetooth headset now as it;'s a bit big to talk into....
Guest Dade Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 You'll get used to talking into it! We use a variety of bluetooth headsets with the M1000's we have here, none seem to be a problem.
Guest Ian Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 Does the M1000 still come with two batteries now that Orange has reduced the price?
Guest Dade Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 Yes, the retail package is just the same.
Guest steverae Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 My God, if a phone could change your life, this is the one.... even plays MAME ! Now that has got to be a bonus.....
Guest Dade Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Yeah and there are thousands of pocket PC titles out there too!
Guest geezer466 Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 How much memory does this device have? I couldn't see a slot for an add on card on the orange 3d feature. I am wondering if this device is capable of running tom tom with a bluetooth link to a gps device? The tom tom maps can get be largeish and ideally would sit on an add in card. Any information gratefully recieved.

Any information gratefully recieved. It's got 128Mb internal memory and a SD card slot. Currently my 256Mb miniSD (in an adaptor) sits in mine (liberated from my C500)
Guest Pondrew Posted December 12, 2004 Report Posted December 12, 2004 Any word on when Orange are going to be getting the M1000 back in stock? I'm waiting for one on upgrade and am hoping it comes back in stock soon...
