MAC address on the wi-fi card....

I use mac address filtering on my wireless LAN. I have trawled through all the settings on my M2000 device but cannot find the MAC address for the wi-fi card.

Anyone any ideas?

I have asked Orange and they are currently on their 3rd day of getting back to me....oh dear!

I need this too. apparently some people can get it by seeing which devices are trying to connect to the wi-fi network, but i need to get it directly from the phone.

Its on the Wireless LAN Manager page....however, it seems that you have to be connected before its populated. Catch 22 if ever there was one.

How about if you relax your security for a few seconds to allow the initial connectio to copy down the MAC then restore the security after?

Is there any way of getting the mac address out of my m2000 without using software that requires activesync'ing to get working? I'm away from my sync cradle. Relaxing security is not an option.

You could connect with an open WiFi net and your MAc will show up in the WLAn utility.

Go to Star Buckaroonies,

Wait to log onto there network, and check ur mac addy.

You could buy a coffee and sit down or purchase a hotspot passport to surf on there network, or just hang about outside in a brown mac coat.

so find a star bucks near u and go log onto there network. ha ha tis a wicked idea, as I was almost reduced to tears with the wifi on my m2000 and thought of the idea, as the day before i was in star bucks havning a ponse eee coffee.

Orange are pants when it comes to wifi help. They dont cover it.
