Hey guys apologies as i have asked this question before in a previous thread but it got lost in the conversation and never answered. I am new to this whole Pocket PC business. I got my M2000 a couple of days ago and i have say i am overjoyed with it. The only thing that annoys me about it is that i don't think i am using it to its full potential. Can some of you folks suggest some good software i should consider using? Does anyone have any 'must have' programmes they think most Pocket PC users should have? The only thing i know i want at the momnet is some kind of GPRS monitor. any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

I'm currently using SPB GPRS monitor, it does the job very well.

It puts an entry on your Today screen to give you an at-a-glance idea of your usage.

The other good thing about the GPRS monitor is the battery monitor thats part of the today screen plugin. Shame that the backlight control doesnt work on the M2000 though but this is part of the slider control draw bug I reported!

Some Apps I have installed:

PocketIRC - IRC Client

VNC - For remote control of remote machines

Agile Messenger - Supports Yahoo, ICQ, MSN and AOL messenger

Thunderhawk - Third party web browser

BetaPlayer - Video player

NetUse (Important for browsing the network via WiFi)

Rudeo Control - Remote control for media centre PCs

MegaCE (mame clone)

PicoDrive

Dade, Sorry to be thick but you couldn't give me a brief description of what each programme does in that list you have given me?

Thanks in advance!

@philgriffiths...Handango is a good place to start for software...and you get 10% off if you are a MoDaCo Plus member...

Dade,

Can you tell me which version (which device) of the Thunderhawk browser you've installed.

Thanks
