Guest gary2000 Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 My smartphone E100 has just crashed again and will not restart which is unacceptable, it reminds me of the reliability of the early windows. Just a quick question, are PPC devices more reliable than smartphone devices as the PPC OS is somewhat more established than the Smartphone OS? All opinions welcolme. thanks flyswat  :?: :) :(
Guest Dade Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 Ive had a an M1000 for about 9 months and an M2000 for about three months. Prior to that I was a Smartphone user. Id say that the Phone Edition devices are MUCH more stable than smartphone. I've had very few lockups or forced reboots during that time.
Guest xerxes Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 Funny, after 4 months with a C500 and 1 week with a Jam I'd say the Smartphone is more stable. My Jam has crashed more times in the last week than my C500 has in 4 months. Of course this could be related to third party software but I don't have anything too bizare on there.
