Guest DylJones Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Hi all, I've been having some problems with my Plantronics M3000 headset and my M1000. After anywhere between 30 seconds and 2-3 mins into a call the headset will switch off. The phone keeps the call although I have to select the option to transfer the call to phone. I called Plantronics last week and the lady suggested that it could be a battery problem. They sent out a new battery which I recieved yesterday and charged overnight. I tried it this morning and exactly the same happened. I called Plantronics again and the guy told me that there is an issue between ALL plantronics bluetooth headsets and phones of 'this type' (not sure if that includes MS Smartphones as well or just Pocket PC phones) due to a problem with the bluetooth software on the phone. He said that he had heard that a fix was being worked on but wasn't sure who by and when it might be available. Has anyone heard of anything like this? The headset works fine with my wife's Nokia 6230 and my old P900. I'd hate to have to get a new headset! Any info or thoughts would be appreciated.
