Guest richardkings Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 Hi Just got a replacement for my dead m2000 and got some good news and bad news for myself 1. Good News - Wifi reception on new device is twice the level as before Maximum signal quality in my office compared with 40% on last one. Found all wireless acces points in my office (have two sepeare wlans one for internal and open network for visitors). Open one was too weak before to use 2. Loose Keyboard - keyboard is much looser than before, although must be a way of tightening it up Richard
Guest raiderz Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 Got my replacement last night for my loose keyboard and like yourself I got some good and bad news. Good news 1. The keyboard was much tighter. Bad news 2. Phone part doesn't work  maybe we could get Orange under trades descriptions act ?? I've got home at 11:30 today and had to swap sim into old mpx200 and I had 5 missed calls, and 4 voicemail messages. Rang Orange Small business support and I'm getting another between 1 and 5 tomorrow... oh the joys of owning cutting edge technology. Still it cost me nowt to upgrade so I suppose I can't complain!!
Guest mrchrispy Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 How loose is loose guys? My keyboard has about 1mm lateral play when closed and it doesn't take much force to make it slide up a little (hitting the call button can make it slide up about 5mm). I think I'll give Orange a call tomorrow!
Guest raiderz Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 The first phone I had moved about 2mm side to side when it was open, it was really loose, when shut it would move up approx 10mm when in my pocket.
