Guest DylJones Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 I noticed someone mention this program in the Jam forum and they sounded pretty keen on this app so i thought i'd take a look. I just D/L'd the trial version to take a look at before commiting any cash towards it. First Impressions: Doesn't make a mess of the 'desktop'. I use SPB Pocket Plus, mainly for the battery meter but also for the shortcuts :). They combine quite nicely! Easy task switching and closing of programs Nice looking interface Start menu opens like REAL windows, no new windows for sub folders! I like! Overall, I think it's pretty good. Only one problem I can find with it. The thing is, it's a big one (for me at least). In changing the top toolbar, I lose the 'signal' meter. I can't see if I'm at full, half or no signal. Where I work signal is bad so this is a major issue for me. Does anyone know if there's a way round this? A way to display the signal strength? If there is, i'll buy it. Otherwise I think I'll pass.
