Imate Jam - Where are all the phone functions?!

Hi, im very impressed with my Jam as a miniature pocket pc, but as a phone it seems to be lacking all the basic functions.

I need to know where all these things are within the menu system if anyone has any idea i'd really appreciate your help.

>Text message & MMS counter (amount of messages sent)

>GPRS counter (amount of data used)

>Outgoing call counter (amount of minutes used)

>Change background of menu area (where the icons are)

at the bottom of the current inbox it says...

Need plugin try all the website might get a freeware one...

saw teh minute counter when playing with it cant remember but ti is there... try the manual...

what u mean add a different picture or today screen...

Ive looked in the inbox and to be honest I dont know what ur on about?! As for the background, I didn't mean today screen I mean once you go into programs is there any way to change the plain white background, even just to a different colour?

Also can anyone point me towards freeware for the above needed features in my first post? Or any pocket pc file share sites or progs around?

Gotcha, in the sent items, just look at the botto bar and it tells me how many. Cheers mate. All i'll have to do is delete them at the end of each month, that's fine. As for counting minutes I might of sussed that coz i can do online billing via vodafone and can check on their site how many mins i have left, it updates at the end of every day, its a bit of a crap thing to have to do considering im supposed to have a top of the range phone which does just about anything you can think of, but never mind it will do until eventually i come across a prog which monitors all of this stuff.

WHAT?? is the Jam version diffrent from the mda compact or something?

Mda caompact does have a gprs counter, and outgoing call counter, and haven't sent any sms/mms yet from my mda so don't know yet :(

Gprs counter is inn--> programs and is called gprs monitor.

it states total sned gprs and total send mms data inbound and outbound. total recieved and current (you can reset last one)

Mabey the jam is diffrent software wise or you folk are just blind? :)

i have vodaphone services and all my counters are in there just fond it... ye seems the software is different...

yeah the differnet networks just seem to change things around abit on the ROM versions, I have the imate sp3 and the orange spv c500 and the ROM menus though basically the same in most respects have slight variations in settings.. fortunately however I have been to interchange the ROMs on both machines

I would have thought it may be in phone services but this only has:

Voicemail

So where is it within vodafone that you mean?

for call timers go to call history and then tools call timers...
