Media Player reading from SD Memory Card

Hi,

New to smartphones so take it easy on me!

The windows media player on my mpx200 wont read of my memory card,

I can store MP3's etc on the memory card and all that but when I open the media player theres nothing there,also,I deleted the opening video of the media player thinking I dont need it and now im not sure if ive buggered the phone....?

Any ideas anyone?

Just retired my MPX200 - never had any problems, finding or playing MP3's WMvs, or WMA's - Soon as I get home I'll pull it out and see if I can do a walkthrough.

Did you try making a My Documents folder and place all of your music in there? Thats what you have to do with Pocket PCs, not sure about smartphones, I just got mine and don't have a memory card for it yet.

In media player Menu you have the option for Local Content this will

then make media player look on the phone and the SD card for music files it does not matter on the location. I use a folder on the SD card

called Music, works fine for me :(
