A heads up to an announcement I have just posted in the News sections, that's Smartphone News, Pocket PC Phone Edition News, and Other Windows Phone News.

You can now post News in this area... and please do :)

Your posts will not show immediately, but they will be activated after being reviewed by a member of our NewsHound team... and you will of course be fully credited!

A NewsHound will most likely be moved to the appropriate section (e.g. Smartphone Software - Applications), then moved back into News with a shadow so that people viewing the appropriate section are also alerted to the item.

If the item doesn't make it into the News, you will receive a PM telling you why.

So get out there News hunting, and if there is a particularly interesting item on MoDaCo that you think is worthy of being on the Portal as news, that is valid too :(
