Installing CAB files on 2003 Second Edition

Hi,

Have just got my first Smartphone, an SPV C500. I've got a CAB file I want to install and have checked this forum and found this

Or if you don't have a File Explorer place the .cab in IPSMWindowsStart MenuAccessories

then on the phone when you go to ProgramsAccessories the cab will be there ready for you to select

it to install.

My phone doesn't have either a IPSMWindowsStart MenuAccessories folder or a Programs Accessories menu item. Is this a feature of the 2003 version?

How do I install it on my phone?

normally is..

storage>windows>start menu>accessories

well thats where i copy em :)

On the 2003 os the IPSM dir is called Storage

so you put the .cab in STORAGE/Windows/Start Menu/Accessories

Done it. Installed from accessories. Struggled to find where it had put the program but found it in the end.

youll always find it in the accessories.. remember the phone is the same as a pc so the folder you put something in is where itll be

Does anyone know a good file manager (windows explorer) site. I need one for my SPV E200 allowing me to manager my files on the device
