Guest Killian Posted December 31, 2004 Report Posted December 31, 2004 (edited) Does anyone know how you can tell whether your phone is de-certified or not? I have loads of freeware apps on my phone aswell as a homescreen but when trying to install a .cab homescreen earlier on it said I didn't have enough system permission, well along those lines anyway :). Like I said, i have a homescreen that i downloaded of this forum in the .hme format and that worked beautifully. Is there anyway I can actually tell whether my phone is certified or not? It is a brand new orange spv c500 if that helps. Thanks in advance. oh yeah, soz if i spelt whether wrong, couldn't decide whether it has two 'hs' or not, you know like, wether........ ahhh there i go again :?: Edited December 31, 2004 by Killian
Guest Confucious Posted December 31, 2004 Report Posted December 31, 2004 If you don't have enough permisions it's not de-certified. Not all http://www.modaco.com/viewforum.php?f=43>homescreens need de-certification and unless you've done it then it won't be. And if I apologised every time I was unsure of my spelling or when I mis-typed something (I'm sure someone kkeeps moving the keys arround on my keyboard).....
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 If you have not been to Orange Delvelopers site (click on http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=102618>OTA for more info ) to application unlock your phone your phone will not be application unlocked.
