Guest phil-t Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 I use one of the seidio amplified car mounts (built in speaker) for my PDA, and I was surprised to see that they are relasing one for the imate SP3 (identical to C500?) this month.. goto www.seidio-europe.com If its as good as their PDA mounts, then it should be pretty good.. They ship to the UK, and prices are reasonable, for my HP2210 PDA, it worked out £45 delivered.. and came with loads of mounting options.. (Car vent, windscreen, 360 degree swivel, etc)

A dedicated cradle, that is designed for your phone to slot into, and an amplified speaker, plus several mounting options for aorund £50 (going by the price of my HP2210 PDA mount).. I have wasted lots of money over the years with different mounts, but none come close to the seidio, the beauty of just slotting the phone in securely, with everything connected/powered is great.. If you don't need the amplified speaker (GPS/hansfree) then it is expensive, although at least its tailor made.. It also has power options to allow you to charge other things (GPS?) from it as well.. so acts as a mini power hub.. I agree it isn't for everyone, but for sat-nav its a must..
