Higher USB Transfer Rate

Hi everybody,

I'm the MPX-newbie... but after 5 days of exploration I'm quite familiarized with some features of this phone :) .

OK... the question:

I tried to transfer some files into my phone from the PC. As you know, the transfer rate is originally a little bit poor. I guess 70 kB/s or lower :roll: . But if I opened the flip, during the transfer, the speed would "improve significantly": + 10-15 kB/s 8) .

The transfer rate 78 - 88 kB/s lasted for the whole file transfer even if I closed the flip again. The file had about 40MB, so it wasn't any failure in speed calculation (I use Total Commander with Smartphone plugin that measures the rate).

Do you have any idea why it was happened? :idea: I'm not sure... I guess the phone reassigns the process priority or something like that during the open :?: .

Try it and report the outcome... Maybe it could be useful info for ROM tweakers.

BTW. Is it possible to bypass the phone system during the transfer? I know there is a function of "modem" used in flashing procedure but I think there is no way to access the memory card via this step... The card itself has definitely higher transfer rate than the stucking 70 :evil: .
