Hi guys, ive been reading various posts on tom tom mobile for my spv c500. Though im a little confused.

*I have just purchased tom tom mobile, i hear people say its comes on an sd card and an mmc card?, i have bought the lastest version.

*i only have an sd card slot on my laptop, i take it i just copy over the files from my laptop (copied from sd card) to my spv c500 mini sd card, i have 256mb one, and have 128mg free.

*i read on posts it doesnt work properly on the spv c500 unless i use the traffic thing, and register via gprs (my gprs works), i thought this was fixed in the lastest version?

*anything else i should know about using tom tom mobile on my spv c500.

*Im currently doing a 6hr journey, how long does the spc c500 batery last? from full charge whilst using tom tom?, do i need an in car chager for my spv c500?, or can i use the one that comes with tom tom?

sorry about these long questions, hope people can help

regards

Yes copy everything from the sd card when you copy onto ur mini sd do not put the files in a folder

You need to install the traffic updates on your pc when syn to ur phone - you do not need to register if u have it already it should work out of the box

I was lucky engough to be driving from london to liverpool on the 26th of dec found my self using tom tom to avoid the 16 car pile up on the m6 jurney took about 4 hours and was still 40% charged :) for a 6 hour trip id get a charger just incase u need to make calls in an emergency
