e200 wont sync with pc

i have just got a e200 i have installed activesync 3.7.1. i did every thing i was told to do on screen when i connected the cradle it said new hardware found then 5 seconds later it says your new hardware is ready to use. i do have the small sync icon on the bottom right of the screen. but when the phone is put on the cradle nothing happends..... when i click on the sync icon it says not connected. i have un-installed and installed but still nothing. please help :roll:

Welcome to the site :)

ActiveSync doesn't like USB hubs, so it might be that. You need a direct connection.

Otherwise check your firewall settings as that might be the problem.

thanks for the reply. not sure what has happend but put phone on cradle and hay presto it worked.....
