What Carrier are you with? Is it the normal WMP with orrange or the Audiovox one?

It seems that you can only add streamin files to the favourites. To do this you just press menu> Add to favourites while playing a streamed file.

Sorry i cant be of more help.

to add to chris, when in WMP, select palylist, then choose the favourites option and next from the menu list you can select properties, delete etc.. unfortunately you wont be able to edit the features

Thanks for your replies.

My problem is a corrupt link in the favorites. I can't choose 'delete' to remove it (delete option is grey).

With Smartione I can see the WMP favorites database but you can't modify it. Is there any software that can do this?

There are database readers available, though I don't know if they allow you to edit / delete.

Have a look on Handango etc

You can use the delete option to remove favourites in the playlist but it won't allow you to delete the open file which has play icon next to it (the delete option will be greyed out). You will first need to select and run another favourite and then go back into the playlist to delete the now unopened file containing the corrupt link :D

When you first load up WMP it seems to always open the first available file in favourites and local list. I assume your corrupt link at the top of the favourites list.

I tried to do what you said to play another file first, but the delete option stays grey
.

Hmmm, it allowed me to delete them that way.

When you had selected (and run) another favourite and then went back to playlist-favourites, had the blue icon moved ? It's during this time that it should allow you to delete any of the other favourites.

Yes, if you select a file on the local content list. And you see all the files in the storage card.

No, if you play a streaming media link. If you click the playlist button you see only the name of the favorite being played. You have to choose menu and favorites to select another link. But then the blue icon stays always on the same place. I think the corrupt link is seen as the first favorite, just like you said.
