Call Redirection Indicator?

Since moving from Nokia's to Smartphones (Had an MPX200 - now SPV C500) I have lost an inportant feature.

I divert my work mobile (an old Nokia 5100 - yuck) to my personal mobile.

When I had my personal Nokia, if someone rang the work phone and was diverted to it the number or name would be displayed as "> 01xxx xxxxx" or "> Fred's mobile" with the ">" symbol added to show it's a redirection from another phone.

Both the MPX200 and the SPV C500 both fail to show if it's a direct or call redirection.

Is there anyway to get this back?

Hi. Welcome to MoDaCo. :)

I have this icon on my SPV signifying that unconditional Call Divert feature is activated

Program > Settings > Telephony > Call Forwarding > Unconditional

Thanks PZEE, but you thinking the wrong way round.

Nokias will show you when a call has been diverted FROM another phone to you, not that you have your calls diverted elsewhere.

ie...

Caller 01000 000000 dials my work number 07777 777777

Work phone diverts to 07111 111111

07111 111111 shows ">01000 000000"

Caller 01000 000000 dials 07111 111111

07111 111111 shows "01000 000000"

Does that make more sense?

I'm in exactly the same boat, work phone diverted to C500 when I'm not working, and there doesn't appear to be any way of knowing that the call coming in is a diverted one or not.

Any answers would be much appreciated.
