SD card Fury

Hi,

I now hate my e200. Having overloaded the memory a few weeks ago and having to reinstall everything, last night my phone made me snap in a new way.

Over the past few days my phone sometimes failed to read the SD card i had in it. Last night it refused to read it at all. I kept inserting/removing and rebooting, and eventually it read the card. AS BEING BLANK. I was annoyed to say the least.

I've tried reading the card in my camera, but it shows it as blank. However when I do a size check using my smartphone, it shows the SD card as being mostly full (As it should have been).

HELP! I'd like to recover those files if possible!

Have you got a card reader ?

You might be able to see the files with that.

Sometime certain memory cards when full will currupt them selfs Sandisc have this problem. From my knowlage anyway. Try formatting it in a card reader or with SP Taskmanager

You will lose your files though by formatting the card.

A card reader is good for making back-ups of your storage card.

Thanks alot guys. Urghh. I'm gonna do my best to save the files once I buy a card reader. I have been putting getting one off for ages as I didn't really need it and found semi-solutions to the problem of e200 disconnecting from activesync once fully charged...a pain when transfering files.

My new grip is that o2 are getting the mp220. NOOOOOOO! WHY NOT ORANGE!

And the card wasn't full, had about 50mb free...
