Finding out data transferred over GPRS

Got a C500 with Orange, and just tried out MSN Messenger. Is it possible to find out on the phone how much bandwidth has been used, or do I need a 3rd party app to do this?

Just wondering how much it'd cost to briefly chat on Messenger to people.

There are some third party applications, but get a trial download first as the jury's out as to whether they work or not.

All Locations GPRS monitor works just fine on my C500

MSN chats are difficult to guage, but in general they use VERY small amounts of data. A 20min chat I had with a friend used about 50kb

Excellent, I wonder how much of that is taken up with the connection data. That's nice and small though.

Logging in MSN ate 30KB last time I tried :?: according to the Orange usage online page..

Same here. Installed without issue and although it initially took a wee while to figure out what the required settings were, the manual soon helped and it's logging data quite happily.

I don't know if it is related but when I did the application unlock, this worked.
