Joysticks

Hi all,

Have read a lot about the issues the sp3 / sp3i are having with their joysticks being unable to be pressed simultaneously at the same time as a button which makes them difficult with java games (where you cannot change the buttons to the soft keys etc).

Im wondering if any devices exist, or will exist, or anything along those lines, that are like the sony ericsson external joysticks? e.g. http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=gb&...pp4_1&pid=10110

A device that plugged into the usb of the phone (or blutoothed in etc) that could register correctly would make the sp3 a haven for games. After all the 200 mhz cpu can run doom fine, we just need a decent joystick to play them on!

There was a device like this made for the original spv, but it never made it to marked.

Never say never but i cant see this coming to smartphone now im afraid

Why dont you try this joystick and make a little frame that fits around the phone?
