Thinking of getting a C500

ok guys, well i have been away from this smartphone stuff, last ones i had where the mpx200 and E200 which was almost a year ago now, i have been trying lots of different phones but i still have that craving for a windows smart phone....so i am thinking of the C500, which i think looks alot better then the older ones, i have been this phone for sale on this lovly site and a few others on orange PAYG for around £150 which i think is a good price but i have a few questions:

1:as this phone is on payg i take it it will have payg settings for GPRS/msn/ect or are oranges settings universal for all orange UK customers as ill be using the handset with my orange contract sim.

2.are there any problems with the handset at all after the newest SW upgrade?

3.Dusty screen - i see this is still a problem with HTC smartphones, so how easy are they to take apart and clean urself??

4.also how easy are these to get unlocked for other sims? and is it the same old OTA software unlock yea?

5.also any recommendations for sw/hw for the handset :)

6.oh and wots the battery life like :( and the call quality (still have nitemares about my E200 lol)

had mine since just before christmas, make sure you get xBar (basicly a convenient task manager for the phone without having to trawl the start menu for the builtin one) and smart explorer (a more functional file browser than the builtin one).

Get betaplayer for playing divx movies etc/

And get doomSPV always nice to show off to your mates!

Careful however, there are issues with using the joystick simultaneously with keypad presses, its not too bad with games but may get on your nerves.

I have seen a guide somewhere if you use search. They reckon it takes 5 minutes with a bit of practice. Never had the dust problem meself (I use a cover)

Goto www.imei-check.co.uk It is the quickest and most reliable (£20). OTA is still the same (albeit different location, click on OTA )

Battery life is a vast improvement over previous SPVs. Upto 4 days with light usage. Heavy usage 2-3 days.
