Guest dangallo Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Hello, I am off to New York in a few weeks, and will be taking my E200 and laptop with me. I currently have the laptop setup to dial through the phone with GPRS using the number *99# and the modem connection string set to: +CGDCONT=1,"IP","orangeinternet","",0,0 I was thinking of using the AT&T Wireless network in America, and was wondering if anyone knows if any of the above settings will need to be changed for use over there? Thanks! :) Dan
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Shouldn't be a problem if you're happy to pay roaming GPRS charges. I've used Orange GPRS on my e100 with no problems, not as a modem though although this shouldn't be any different.

Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Incedentally when i was in the US in April i didn't seem to be charged for my GPRS usage. hopefully not just a technical glitch... :)
