Guest quikie Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 hey guys, I got a Mpx220 off amazon and it came locked. I got my friend to email cingular and they gave him an unlock code for it but now the phone is asking for an UNBLOCK code. After i enter the numbers it tells me, what you are trying to do is not supported by the sim? what do i do?
Guest Demonkc135 Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 I think you need to install the prepaid or foreign sim in the phone first, then put in the code they sent you. I believe that you are trying to unlock the phone but have not swapped out the sim. That is why you are getting the sim error msg. Nick
