Speed Camera POI's for Mapopolis!

After reading a very helpful little guide by Dr_StrangeTrick on how to convert TomTom POI's for use in Mapopolis...i thought i'd give it a bash :)

Below are the .mlp files you'll need and the guide .pdf file. Put the .mlp files in with the rest of your maps and add them in Mapopolis..simple :(

The speed camera data was taken from www.PocketGPS.co.uk and was updated on the 28th of December.

Anyone got any other converted POI's for the UK? I'm especially interested in patrol stations and also in pubs?

There are loads of POIs available for download from http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/tomtompoi.php

which includes petrol stations, McDonalds, KFC, Football grounds, car dealers, supermarkets, Orange shops, whisky distilleries (?) and all kinds of stuff

Loads of other European POIs too, not just the UK

excuse my ignorance but what do I need to actually use these POI's -- presumably a corresponding map?? (am I right in saying these are purchased and the software os given away)

You have to pay for the software ie TomTom and CoPilot the poi are generally given away free by a third party web site.
