Hi,

Recently my C500 has been turning itself off if it get hit on the back. it doesn't have to be very hard even if i drop it onto my bed it turns off. I'm assumning it must be something lose with the battery compartment somewhere.

Are any of you aware of anyone suffering from similar problems with their c500?

Thanks

P.S

Apologies if this is a known problem, and i've over looked it due to my poor searc skills...i tried searching....honest :D

Just sounds like a loose battery. Double check its pushed in properly. If not call up Orange and ask what you can do about getting it repaired under warranty...

Yep i can sympathise with you as my old e100 used to do exactly the same. It was particularly susceptible as you lifted it to your ear after answering a call!

Monolithix - if the phone turns itself off as soon as you try to talk to it, maybe it wasn't the battery. Maybe it was self-preservation! Have a friend check you for halitosis as soon as possible!!! :D
