Guest reubkov Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 The SMT56000 on display in my local ATTWS store had a cool video demo. I searched and found the files in a sub-directory of the "Program Files" folder. I was able to beam all but one of the files to my handset (demolaunch.exe, kaexfile.exc, KioskAgent.exe and, I think, iaseths1.bkf) but I was unable to beam the actual video file, which was over 1 MB. I even tried setting up my email account on the display phone and sending the file to my phone, but the only kind of new account I could set up was a pop3 account, rather than an "Outlook" account, and the only options of "sending" the file via the file manger were via "beam" or "Outlook", so that didn't work. Does anyone know how I can get that last remaining file? Much thanks, reubkov
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 I presume you actually asked to copy the files from the store phone?
Guest reubkov Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 (edited) I presume you actually asked to copy the files from the store phone? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To be honest, I didn't exactly ask about those specific files, but I asked the guy if it was okay if I could try to figure out how to transfer files from their unit to my unit via email vs. beaming and he said "no problem." I believe I told him I was trying to see if I got get the demo to play on my unit, and he was, like, "no worries, Dude." He even checked with me a few times to see how it was going... reubkov Edited January 7, 2005 by reubkov
