Guest MECX Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 (edited) EDIT:- ok ive added a pic in the same situation with the update, much better in my opinion but still crappy really. (one on the right is the new pic) got my jam and im extreamly pleased with it, EXCEPT the camera, seems to work ok ish in daylight but under artificial light i get strange artifacts. ive attached a picture under normal indoor lighting conditions is this the same as other peoples? i must say the pictures do look alot better on the computer than on the Jam screen. Guest AsymetricDesign Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 (edited) It's the same for everyone, when taking pics indoors, whilst using the screen as a viewfinder it looks all snowy and dark, once you take the pic it doesn't look so bad. Edit: Just noticed your from Norwich, im from Ipswich, what a small world hey! Edited January 8, 2005 by AsymetricDesign
Guest MECX Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 glad to know i dont have to send my phone back, dont use the camera much anyway tbh, well live near norwich from sunderland orginally :-D

Guest Chaser81 Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 The camera is the only thing I am disappointed about on the Jam. It does suck just a little bit, considering its supposed to be 1.3 megapixel.

Unfortunately it's not quite there yet, but surely the perfect device is just around the corner now, cant wait for phones with mini hard drives! However, the magician/jam/mda compact etc is the best phone on the market to date.
Guest markdotpeters5 Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 see me post about the camera "fix". No news on how much difference it makes yet, i'll try it when I get my Jam tomorrow... If anyone wants to try it and let me know, it'd be appreciated!
