Guest Brody Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Fancy watching streamed TV on your Smartphone? Well its available! SmartVideo.com have teamed up with Microsoft to offer programs including 'music videos, cartoons, national and local affiliate programming, movie trailers and much, much more' it seems that there is something for everyone! The service is compatible with pretty much every Windows Mobile device that can get a connection to the service which is great news. Just remember to watch that bill if you are using GPRS! For some clips and music videos point your Smartphone's browser to www.windowsmedia.com/mobile Source: www.MSMobileNews.com

Guest Confucious Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 Bear in mind that on T-Mobile in the states GPRS is cheap compared to the UK, I think the practicalities will make it redundent in the UK (unless you want massive data bills!)
Guest dearsina Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 It's interesting to see that — although with a rather sub-par quality — we are able to view streaming video through GPRS. It makes me look forward to a possible 3G smartphone even more. sina london
Guest Confucious Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 3G just means that you can download data a lot quicker which would be useful for this app - but not until we get sensible data pricing. As it stands faster downloading just means even higher bills!
Guest Al Cool Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 I tried on my e200, it works but take care : "time on the air" is money ! It still great.
