Guest Jasonkruys Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 I have done a search, but I seem to be struggling with getting relevant results since the site swapped over for some reason :?: Is there any way to change the default system font that you see on all the screens without using MrMagoo's font changer? ie. renaming a font to nina or whatever. If so...any advice how, and what is a suitable font?
Guest Disco Stu Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 I'm pretty sure that Mr Magoo's method is the only way. It's tricky but there are lots of hints & tips in the thread. In fact there is a very useful tool in there to do the hard bit for you. :D
Guest el-wizard Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 (edited) makes me wonder... why is there a /fonts folder when it contains no fonts, and you can't install new fonts in it, except a rather difficult way? Edited January 9, 2005 by el-wizard
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 Its very easy to use the BladdFont program by MrMagoo. Here is the thread: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=105530 I find it easier to install font via a CAB file. I pack the font in a cab installer then thats it, my desired font installed to my phone. :D You can use open type and true type fonts but only those with non-bold type face names.
