I have done a search, but I seem to be struggling with getting relevant results since the site swapped over for some reason :?:

Is there any way to change the default system font that you see on all the screens without using MrMagoo's font changer? ie. renaming a font to nina or whatever.

If so...any advice how, and what is a suitable font?

I'm pretty sure that Mr Magoo's method is the only way.

It's tricky but there are lots of hints & tips in the thread. In fact there is a very useful tool in there to do the hard bit for you. :D

makes me wonder... why is there a /fonts folder when it contains no fonts, and you can't install new fonts in it, except a rather difficult way?

Its very easy to use the BladdFont program by MrMagoo. Here is the thread:

I find it easier to install font via a CAB file. I pack the font in a cab installer then thats it, my desired font installed to my phone. :D

You can use open type and true type fonts but only those with non-bold type face names.
