Bad phone problem

As of yesterday my phone decided that it wouldn't charge... I know it's not the charger since I tried the sync charger, my car charger and my travel charger.

So now the phone wont turn on, wont charge wont do anything it's a paperweight.

A little background to this. I saw the power was getting kind of low so i plugged it into the car charger and then a little while later the phone made a beep and It was the warning that the power was low.

I thought that was weird because it was plugged in... about 20 minutes later the phone died(while still attached to the charger). It wouldn't turn on.

I left it over night connected to the sync charger, i tried to turn it on(i thought maybe it would charge better if it was turned on since i could tell it wasn't charging in the state it was)... it turned on for like 5 seconds then shut off.

So now it wont turn on and i've tried charging it again with the travel charger and dont know what to do..... Should I just get a new phone, I cant afford another good phone right now so i'd have to buy the cheapest phone I could off of ebay.

Or should I buy another battery?

Should I try to find someone locally that has an mpx200 to test my battery in it to see if it can be charged or what is wrong with it. If i know it's the battery i dont mind buying a new one you know....

Sounds like the internal fuse has blown, this is not really a user

servicable part unless you have a very steady hand and are good

with a soldering iron.

The same thing happened to me. I had low battery so i decided to charge it. 10 minutes later when i checked the phone it was dead. I tried to start it but nothing happened, tried to charge it but still nothing. I took out the battery and putted it in again and waited 10-20 minutes and then charged it. Nothing happened but 10 minutes later it started to charge. kind of starnge....

Mine just did this - I can't tell you how pissed off I am.  :x  #-o #-o  ](*,)

There is no way I'm going to freekin sodder a blown fuse. I wish I knew the quality control manager at Motorola so I could stuff this phone up his/her nose.

For such a useful tool, this phone has been a pain in the ass. Replaced once. Hard reboot once every 2 months. OY!

Just venting. Thanks.

I'm getting something else - this is the end, my friend of me and MPX200.

I've never had to hard reset my MPX200 but as for the fuse, it's there

for protection. You may have had a problem with your electric supply.
