Turning off IR on SPVc500

Hi,

Configured my spv for IR (Infra Red) Activesync with my laptop.

But now the IR on my SPV keeps standby all the time, I noticed that when I layed my phone next to my laptop's IR port.

Does someone know how to turn of the IR transmitter on the phone. (I heard that continuously IR transmitting, empty's your battery enormous)

Settings>Beam, turn off "Recieve incoming beams"

Try START-Accessories-Modem Link. Check if it is not ON.

Also check settings of the ActiveSync in your mobile (from ActiveSync go to Menu-Options-Mobile Schedule) if not set up to sync periodically.

I don't have periodical syncs on mine yet my PC detects my phone but when I turn off "Recieve incoming beams" as I previously suggested it stop smy PC detecting my phone, that is your fix!

Hi,

I searched all the menus of my c500 but I can't find any option to turn off incoming beams. Could you please tell me where you find the option?
