Jus curious as to whether or not the M2000 is likely to get an upgraded rom to sort the same problems, i mean i knows its orange its not very likely but ya never know

is it possible to update the M2000's with an I-Mate rom? if so i might see if i can get a hold of the new one.

I asked Dade the same question a few weeks back and he said he would try it out on one of his M2000 models. I don't know what the results were however, so i wouldn't try the PDA2K update on your M2000 just yet. With the shortages of these devices you dont wanna go breaking yours!

:D You're not kidding about shortages. Everytime I think I've got an M2000/MDA III with my name on it I get informed shortly after that they (Orange/OneStopPhoneShop) are out of stock and don't know when it'll be back.

I spoke to Orange a few weeks back, and they assured me they are working on the ROM update, and it shouldn't be too long.

If it's just the bluetooth problem you are trying to fix, some people have installed the bluetooth patch from i-mate...see this thread

I am personally gonna wait for Orange to release the update...as someon said, don't wann mess it up with the supply shortages.

Cheers
