Guest MitzEclipse Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Microsoft has a program out there called "smartphlow" that takes the washington state / seattle traffic and displays it on the phone in real time. This would help me with my commute - does anyone know where I can get this? Thanks
Guest mgama Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, but here is my solution that I use: On my MPx200, I had just bookmarked the image on the DOT website's graphics: http://images.wsdot.wa.gov/nwflow/flowmaps/bridges.gif http://images.wsdot.wa.gov/nwflow/flowmaps...map_Seattle.gif But when I did that on my SMT5600, it would download the file, which was less than ideal. So instead I uploaded a HTML file to my personal website that just linked to their graphics, and bookmarked that page. I suppose I could have placed a copy of that HTML file on the smartphone itself, that referenced the above graphics.
Guest MitzEclipse Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 mgama - those are AWESOME links - basically just like smartphlow...even better you don't have to install a program. Thanks again for those links!
Guest rongoms Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Smartphlow is an MS-internal only application, sorry. But stay tuned. good thigns are just around the corner. :D PM me if you need more details.
