App unlocking and GPRS ?

Hi, I have been trying to application unlock my C500 today with the OTA but it just hangs for a bit then a blank page is displayed saying "done" at the bottom?

The phone is on o2 and is set up for wap over GPRS (all working) but it doesn’t hold the GPRS connection and drops it as soon as a page has loaded?

What I want to know is.... Does the GPRS have to be connecter all the time to allow the unlock to work? and if so how do I stop the connection closing?

If your GPRS connection drops after download then go to Settings-Data connections, Menu-Options and change the idle disconnect timer to 5 or 10 minutes.

Also you may not be able to unlock the phone using a WAP connection (CSD or GPRS). I think the OTA unlock needs a proper internet connection so try changing the Internet connection to 'Pass through' in Settings-Data connections so the phone uses the PC modem link :D
