I can happily send files to and from my pc and c500 smartphone now but im wondering if anyone knows how i use the bluetooth dongle to establish a gprs connection so i can browse the net in my room near my pc. Hope someone has some answers and can help.. Regards, Jon

Guest Confucious Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 That topic is how to establish an Activesync comnnection. What Jon wants, if I'm not mistaken, is to set up a passthrough connectionto access the internet from his phone via his PCs internet connection (this is NOT using GPRS hence no cost.) Start->Settings->Data Connections The internet connection should be set to Automatic then, if you are connected to your PC it should use this connection rather than yourGPRS connection to access the internet. The little G by the battery metere should NOT appear but yopu should connect. HTH
