By not going off do you mean not going off as an alarm or not switching off when you disable it? If its the latter then it is a common problem caused by something someone explained elsewhere on this forum. Something to do with multiple events or something. Haven't had a problem with the former.

alarm clock itsself doesnt seem to work..i set it to 8 in the morning and end oversleeping because the alarm clock not working... maybe im just in deep sleep? . but even if i do miss it, doesnt it usually have the option to dismiss or snooze.?
